| Saddle Stitching |
A post-production process where your project is bound by stapling sheets together where they Fold at the Spine (as compared to side stitch). Also called Pamphlet stitch, saddle Wire and Stitch bind. This Binding is normally applied to multi-page catalogs and is considered very cost-effective. Most consumer magazines employ this Form of binding.
A method of Binding where the folded pages are stitched through the Spine from the outside, using Wire staples. Usually limited to 64 to 96 pages, depending on the equipment utilized. |
